Job description

PRESS OPERATOR 
Monday – Thursday 
8:30 pm - 7:00 am 
$18.17 - $19.17 per hour 
  
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Press cord for post-cure final inspection departments, to follow instructions and maximize lift performance.
  • Mold O-ring and custom/special products, ensuring the correct materials and tooling is used and the job card is filled and signed
  • Ensure job card instructions are followed and understood, that the work is prioritized in line with customer due date, informing the cell leader of any issues that may affect OTD
  • Work in line with all relevant SOPs
  • Ensure lift performance is maximized, where possible
  • Ensure only good, quality products are passed along to the next stage
  • Housekeeping is kept to the highest possible standards at all times and the end of the shift clean down is finished
  • Ensure that an end/start handover is done and understood
  • Must work assigned schedule and adhere to company timekeeping policy
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable and predictable attendance
