Grader - Trading Cards
Certified Guaranty Company (CGC) is seeking world-class Cards Graders to join our Cards Team dedicated to expert and impartial sports cards and trading cards grading.
Our card grading service from CGC uses world-class expertise, cutting-edge technology and operational excellence to join the other Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) companies in quickly becoming the leader in its category.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Researches, identifies, and authenticates collectible trading cards and sports cards
  • Assesses the condition, quality and furthermore grades the item using established standards
  • Meets established production goals while maintaining superior grading standards
  • Entry of grading data into computer system
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Trading Card required
  • Expansive knowledge as it relates to card printing, including printing processes, variants, and errors
  • 1 – 3 years of direct grading experience as a card grader or as a dealer/collector with extensive grading submission history
  • Detail oriented with the ability to detect counterfeit and altered cards with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as business needs arise
