Carbon Performance information

What is a carbon performance professional?

Carbon performance professionals are specialists who help organizations measure, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions and overall environmental impact. They often analyze energy use, develop strategies to minimize carbon footprints, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Their work is crucial for companies aiming to meet sustainability goals, achieve net-zero targets, and report transparently on their environmental performance. These professionals may work within sustainability teams, as consultants, or as part of facilities management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a carbon performance specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Carbon Performance Specialist, you need expertise in environmental science, carbon accounting, and data analysis, typically supported by a degree in environmental studies or sustainability. Familiarity with carbon management software, greenhouse gas (GHG) protocols, and certifications like ISO 14064 is often required. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills help you drive sustainability initiatives and translate technical findings for diverse audiences. These skills enable effective measurement, reporting, and reduction of carbon footprints, supporting organizational sustainability goals and regulatory compliance.

What are common challenges faced by professionals working in carbon performance roles, and how are they typically addressed?

Professionals in Carbon Performance roles often face challenges such as collecting accurate emissions data across complex operations, keeping up with evolving regulations, and aligning sustainability goals with business objectives. These challenges are typically addressed through cross-department collaboration, investment in reliable data management tools, and ongoing professional development to stay current with regulatory changes and best practices. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is also crucial for driving successful carbon reduction initiatives and ensuring organizational buy-in.

About Carbon Performance

At Carbon Performance, we are redefining group fitness. Our mission is to deliver high-energy, results-driven classes in a premium environment.
We combine elite coaching, intentional programming, and an unmatched community to create an experience that keeps members coming back and progressing.
Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy Cycle Instructor to lead engaging, music-driven classes that deliver both performance and experience.
This is not just about riding a bike. It is about creating an atmosphere, coaching with intention, and driving measurable results for every rider in the room.
What You’ll Do

  •  Lead high-quality indoor cycling classes that are structured, intentional, and performance-based
  •  Deliver an elevated experience through music, energy, and presence
  •  Coach riders on form, effort, and pacing to ensure both safety and results
  •  Create playlists and class flows that match the Carbon brand and energy
  •  Build relationships with members and foster a strong community within your classes
  •  Consistently show up prepared, on time, and ready to deliver
What We’re Looking For

  •  Certified indoor cycling instructor (or relevant group fitness certification)
  •  Strong presence, confidence, and ability to command a room
  •  Ability to coach both beginners and experienced riders
  •  High level of professionalism and reliability
  •  Passion for fitness, music, and creating an experience
  •  Social media awareness and willingness to help promote classes
Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience teaching in a boutique or premium fitness environment
  •  Background in performance training, endurance, or athletics
  •  Ability to program rides with purpose (intervals, endurance, power-based work)
What Makes You a Fit at Carbon

  •  You are coachable and open to feedback
  •  You bring energy but also structure and intention
  •  You care about results, not just vibes
  •  You take pride in building a following and community
Compensation & Perks

  •  Competitive per-class rate (based on experience)
  •  Access to all Carbon Performance classes and facilities
  •  Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding brand
  •  Ongoing education and development opportunities
Schedule

  •  Flexible, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  •  Opportunities to grow into a consistent weekly schedule
How to Apply

Submit your resume along with:
  •  A brief introduction about your coaching style
  •  Any relevant certifications
  •  (Optional) Video of you coaching or leading a class
If you bring energy, intention, and professionalism to every class, we want to meet you.
Join us and help redefine what group fitness should feel like.
