Job Summary: Car Wash Associate
As a Car Wash Associate, you will deliver a safe, fast, and friendly experience while creating a welcoming environment for every guest. You will be the face of Spark-greeting customers, driving membership sales, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient site. In this role, you will rotate between the Pay Station, assisting with transactions and memberships; the Tunnel, helping load vehicles and ensure safe, efficient operations; and the Parking Lot, keeping the grounds clean and supporting guests. By upholding site standards, you help ensure our operations run smoothly so every guest receives a consistently exceptional wash.
What you will be doing:
  • Be the friendly face of Spark, offering customers a smile and prompt service
  • Assist guests with purchase decision by explaining available wash options, membership benefits, promotional offers, and complementary amenities
  • Receive customer payments, handle cash transactions, and ensure all sales activity is recorded accurately and managed responsibly
  • Assist with proper use of the Pay Station by ensuring customer payments are processed accurately and team members follow company service, cash handling, and payment policy and procedures.
  • Respond quickly to customer needs and address concerns with courtesy, patience and professionalism while working to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Safely guide vehicles into the car wash tunnel by directing customers clearly, maintaining awareness of moving vehicles and equipment, and following all tunnel loading procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient wash process
  • Follow all safety procedures when working in or around the car wash tunnel, including maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, equipment, chemicals, and surrounding team members to help ensure a safe, secure, and efficient wash operation
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the lot by removing debris, checking vacuums for proper operation, and helping ensure the site remains clean, safe, and customer-ready throughout the day
  • Help maintain clean equipment and tools, ensuring any repair issues are promptly reported to the General Manager

Requirements
  • Strong people skills with a positive, professional attitude and a real sense of pride in representing Spark as the face of our brand
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while following instructions, managing time well, and staying productive with limited direction
  • Experience using a pay station and comfortable processing customer transactions, payments, and related sales activity accurately and responsibly
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly spot issues, identify problems, and help keep the operation running smoothly
  • Comfortable performing physical work that requires the use of hands, arms, legs, and full-body movement, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and handling tools or materials
  • Capable of lifting, moving, or carrying up to 40 lbs. as needed
  • English proficiency required to support customer communication and safe daily operations.
  • Must be able to see details at close range, including customer transactions, equipment, tools, vehicles, and site conditions
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Maintain availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
