Help Wanted: Pet Sitters & Overnight Care – Elizabeth & South Parker

Do you have a passion for animals and a commitment to excellent customer service? As You Wish is seeking dedicated Pet Sitters and Overnight Care Providers to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for responsible, compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Important Requirements – Please Read Before Applying:

  • You MUST live in Elizabeth or South Parker – territories are assigned based on residence.

  • Must be 21 or older.

  • Availability is essential: Nights, weekends, and holidays are required. Animals need care 24/7, and our clients depend on us while they work, travel, or vacation.

  • Must commit to a minimum of 6 months.

  • Must have a car, auto insurance, and a clean MVR.

  • Able to walk 5–10 miles per day and lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, and snow).

  • Must have a cell phone with texting capability and be comfortable using a computer for scheduling and reports.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing overnight and extended stay pet care.

  • Following detailed instructions and administering basic pet first aid (training available).

  • Walking and exercising dogs safely on approved leashes.

  • Engaging with a wide variety of clients in a professional, customer service–focused manner.

  • Taking thorough notes and communicating effectively with clients and our team.

  • Marketing your services to build strong client relationships.

Additional Details:

  • You will work as a licensee of As You Wish and be compensated per job. This is excellent supplemental income.

  • Physical activity level is heavy – frequent walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.

  • Completion of a Pet First Aid/CPR course is required (training options available).

  • Ongoing professional development is encouraged.
