Description

 Join the team at America's Auto Auction - Jacksonville as a Sale Day Driver and help keep the excitement moving every Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment where vehicles are constantly on the move and every sale day brings something new. 


As a Sale Day Driver, you will play an important role in auction operations by safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles across the auction property. You'll also drive vehicles through the auction lanes on designated sale days while ensuring all safety procedures and driving guidelines are followed.


What You'll Do

  • Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on designated sale days
  • Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction property and nearby customer dealerships or businesses
  • Follow all auction driving rules, road regulations, and defensive driving practices
  • Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisors or team leaders
  • Relocate vehicles as needed and assist in locating misplaced vehicles
  • Assist with basic vehicle readiness such as jump-starting vehicles or inflating tires when needed
  • Notify supervisors if a vehicle is inoperable or out of fuel
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures
  • Support company safety initiatives and participate in safety programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required
  • Ability to safely operate a wide variety of vehicle types
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles throughout the day
  • Comfortable sitting for extended periods and walking long distances
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as required
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
