Job description

Overview

Juncos Hollinger Racing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Truck Driver and Tire Technician to join our Indy NXT team!

As one of JHR's Truck Drivers, this individual plays a crucial role in ensuring the logistical success of the team during the racing season. Their responsibilities go beyond just driving the truck; they are integral to the team's ability to compete by ensuring that all necessary equipment, vehicles, and personnel arrive safely and on time at each race venue. • Ensuring that the load is properly secured and adheres to transportation regulations, considering the high value and precision of the cargo.
  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining the hauler (truck and trailer) to ensure it's in top working condition, as breakdowns could delay the team's arrival and preparations for race day.
  • In coordination with the Head of Transportation, schedules maintenance and repairs, including tire checks, engine servicing, and keeping the hauler clean and organized.
  • Keeping track of the equipment being transported, ensuring that the necessary parts and tools are packed and readily accessible when needed. Assisting with inventory control by organizing and loading/unloading the equipment at each event.
