Overnight Car Wash, Detail and Lube Technician
Get with Spiffy and go mobile! Are you an automotive enthusiast that takes satisfaction and pride in detailing your own vehicle and want to deepen your knowledge in the industry? As a Mobile Car Wash, Detail and Lube Technician, you will travel to different designated sites, ensuring client vehicles are cleaned, detailed, and well-maintained, guaranteeing their utmost satisfaction. Must be willing to work in ALL weather conditions. If you prefer a temperature controlled environment, this job may not be ideal for you.
Position: Car Wash, Detail and Lube Tech
Shift: Overnight 9pm-5am

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Execute efficient and thorough car wash procedures, including hand washing, pressure washing, and drying, ensuring vehicles are sparkling clean and free from dirt and debris.
  • Perform meticulous interior and exterior vehicle detailing, encompassing vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, polishing surfaces, waxing, and ensuring an overall pristine appearance.
  • Conduct basic lube services, such as oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, and tire rotations, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and established guidelines.
  • Utilize automotive tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining services performed, and recommending additional maintenance or detailing options when necessary.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to car washing, detailing, and lube services.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, meet service timelines, and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Assist with other automotive service tasks as needed or assigned.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
  • Must be an energetic self-starter willing to work in all weather conditions to include but not limited to hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow, and sleet.
  • Be a team player, hardworking, honest, reliable, and timely
  • Basic computer and math skills, tech-savvy with a smartphone
  • Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

WHAT EXPERIENCE ISN'T REQUIRED BUT WILL HELP SET YOU A PART FROM OTHER APPLICANTS?
  • Prior wash, detail, and lube experience on different vehicle makes and models with a knowledge of automotive cleaning products, detailing techniques, and vehicle maintenance practices. (some applicants have shown us pics of their work in the past-this helps highlight their passion and we love to see it!)
  • Experience working in the elements (those who have previous experience in construction and HVAC, for example, understand the all weather aspect nature of the job and have had success in this role)

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
