Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Social Worker for the Referral & Assessment Service to join our client based in Medway.

About the role:

You will manage a caseload within a framework of reflective and supportive supervision, undertaking focused and analytical assessments, developing SMART plans, and completing reviews. You will ensure that vulnerable children and young people receive services that reflect the Council's strong commitment to safeguarding and to supporting meaningful transitions into young adulthood.

You will work directly with children and young people to understand their lived experiences, wishes, and feelings, using a variety of engagement techniques.

You will use the Signs of Safety practice model in assessments and interventions with children and their families.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Relevant Social Work qualification
  • Completion of the ASYE
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Active Social Work England registration
