Job description

TEAM FORD LINCOLN QUICK LANE is looking to add a team oriented, flexible and focused Parts Back Counterman/Used Car Recon Representative to our busy dealership. We value our employees and offer a great work environment and ongoing training. As a Parts back counterman/Used Car Recon Rep, you will be responsible for assisting our service advisors, technicians, used car managers and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies and inspecting used cars for reconditioning. We strive to ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level. We offer competitive pay, 401k match, medical benefits and paid training.

Essential Duties

  • Must be able to work closely with advisors, technicians and used car managers in a high paced environment.
  • Able to locate and order parts accurately.
  • Locate available parts when dealership is out of stock.
  • Refer to parts manuals to identify the correct part for the vehicle being serviced.
  • Post parts received to invoices and repair orders.
  • Provide estimates for parts needed.
  • Assist with inspecting and pricing used cars for reconditioning. 
  • scheduling offsite vendor repairs.
  • Working with the used car manager on approvals for reconditioning.
  • Billing, invoicing and processing documents for recon vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.

Employment Requirements

  • Ford experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train qualified applicants.
  • The ability to adapt to varying tasks according to changing volume and business needs.
  • Standing, walking, bending, squatting and sitting for long periods of time.
  • Team player
  • Basic math and comprehension skills.
  • Capable of lifting parts safely
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
  • Able to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
