Position Overview: Used Car Manager

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing all aspects of the used vehicle department, including inventory acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and sales performance
  • Sourcing and purchasing quality pre-owned inventory through auctions, trades, and direct purchases
  • Analyzing market trends to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability
  • Partnering with the sales and finance teams to drive volume, gross, and turn objectives
  • Managing inventory levels, aging, and reconditioning processes
  • Coaching and developing the sales team to improve used vehicle performance
  • Ensuring excellent lot presentation and online merchandising standards
  • Driving used car department growth under new ownership leadership

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or Assistant Used Car Manager
  • Strong track record of achieving used vehicle sales and gross profit goals
  • Experience sourcing vehicles through auctions, trades, and inventory management tools
