JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to transport auction vehicles using a multi-car hauler trailer. This is a local position with Monday through Friday scheduling, allowing drivers to be home every night. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe vehicle transport. Experience loading and unloading, strapping vehicles down, and driving a multi car hauler required.

Responsibilities
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload auction vehicles using a car hauler trailer.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly secured and transported without damage.
  • Complete vehicle condition reports and transportation paperwork accurately.
  • Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, auction personnel, and customers.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned equipment.
  • Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
QualificationsRequired
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
  • Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and secure vehicles safely.
Preferred
  • Previous car hauler experience.
  • Experience with vehicle auctions, dealerships, or automotive transportation.
  • Knowledge of load securement procedures.
