Material Handler
Are you a detailed oriented? Team player? Organized? Tommy's Car Wash Systems is looking for a motivated individual to join our inventory team! In this role you will help manage, maintain, and improve inventory operations! This includes cycle counting, inventory transfers, setting stock levels and much more!

Position Responsibilities:
  • Helping to maintain and enforce warehouse inventory processes.
  • Identifies and communicates problematic inventory items to Inventory Manager.
  • Identifies, Adjusts and Root Cause Analysis inventory discrepancies with Inventory Manager
  • Conducts routine cycle counts.
  • Conducts inventory transfers.
  • Heavy emphasis Material Handling and movement of inventory from our receiving locations
  • Communication and coordination with the Receiving team and Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Consolidating current pallet racking/bins to free space for inbound equipment.
  • Working with pick/pack/ship team on strategic item locations.
  • Warehouse Organization- Identify the need for new storage methods, space allocation based on stock levels- implement a plan to meet the need with warehouse team
  • RF-Smart Bin Put-away and Inventory Management
  • Order Management
  • Shipping and Confirming orders.
  • End of Year Inventory
  • Assisting in receiving and picking as needed.
  • If all receiving and material scope of work is complete, assist warehouse with anything that is needed

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Forklift Experience
  • Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within database systems a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can-do attitude
  • Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:
  • Work and commute in all weather conditions
  • Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
  • Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
  • Drive between company locations and/or vendors or suppliers as needed while on job
  • Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50 - 70 lbs, go up heights on ladder
  • Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
  • Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
