Job description

Seeking an Auto Body Shop Technician. At Haley GMC Midlothian, we help restore vehicles to like-new condition in our fully equipped collision repair shop.

  • Windshields
  • Auto Body Painting

Job Duties:

  • Damage Assessment: Evaluate the extent of damage to a vehicle's body after an accident or other incidents.
  • Repair Techniques: Employ various techniques to repair damaged panels, including straightening, welding, and filling.
  • Panel Replacement: Replace damaged or rusted panels with new ones.
  • Rust Removal: Remove rust and corrosion from vehicle bodies.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and applying filler.
  • Painting: Apply paint and clear coat to vehicle bodies, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Finishing Touches: Polish and buff the vehicle to restore its shine.
  • Customization: Some technicians also work on customizing vehicles by adding aftermarket parts or modifying existing ones.
  • Working with Car Lights and Windows: Some technicians also work with car lights and windows.
