Job description

Position: Material Handler (Packaging Operator)

Duration: 6- Month Contract
Location: Edison, NJ 08817
Shift: 1st shift – 6:45am to 3pm OR 2nd shift – 2:45pm to 11pm
Start Date: TBD

Position Summary:

The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating packaging line equipment, handling materials, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and effective communication to maintain smooth and efficient packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
  • Organize and store inventory in appropriate locations.
  • Prepare materials for shipment or production use.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock counts.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience Required:

• 1-2 years’ experience in material handling/packaing or warehouse management -  HMI screens for various packaging equipment, including Tablet/Capsule Filler, Cottoner, Capper, Desiccant Inserter, Checkweigher, Labeler, Case Former, and Pallet Jack.

Education Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
