The Opportunity That Awaits You

The Senior Project Manager, Operations provides project leadership to the crossโ€‘functional team for the development and implementation of innovative solutions for current and future products, leads new market access projects, costโ€‘reduction/avoidance projects, and other business process projects. This position manages Projects within the Operations team, working crossโ€‘functionally with Quality, R&D, Commercial teams, and external resources as required.

What Your Dayโ€‘toโ€‘Day Will Involve
  • Actively manages Operations projects from planning through deployment by driving adherence to key milestones and schedules.
  • Supports urgent projects related to continuity of supply stemming from product quality issues, supply chain disruption, new product introduction, new market access, etc.
  • Drives collaboration between multidisciplinary stakeholders and subject matter experts; leads projects requiring inputs and deliverables from adjunct department contributors.
  • Solicits input from stakeholders on project risks; anticipates, captures, and mitigates risks through planning and monitoring appropriately.
  • Responsible for regular project status updates to key stakeholders and leaders; manages the project dashboard by regularly updating progress, milestones, risks, scope, and deliverables.
  • Collaborates with other project managers and department leadership on regular reporting to the Executive team.
  • Develops and shares Smartsheet, Tableau or similar reports with the goal to increase transparency and improve efficiency.
  • Supports the success of project status updates with focus on critical path items, new and updated risks, and mitigation plans.
  • May need to travel domestically and internationally for business.
  • Maintains trained status for, and complies with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Understands and adheres to PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies.
Qualifications We Need You to Possess
  • BS or MS, preferably a degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of medical device manufacturing/operations/quality experience.
  • 4+ years of project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Smartsheet).
  • Maintain a full portfolio view of all major projects that impact Operations personnel including resource allocation, relative priority, and status.
  • Ability to work as part of a multiโ€‘disciplinary team in a small, fastโ€‘paced company.
  • Ability to balance handsโ€‘on detailed tasks and project and program management/planning functions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying advanced information and persuading diverse stakeholders/audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications.
  • Ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
