The Regional Working Capital Analyst supports the Regional Working Capital Manager on all governance and processes relating to cashflows management, bank accounts rationalisation, cash optimisation and capex management for the Americas MS Region. The position supports the Group's KPIs on Cash Conversion and Capex utilisation. The role will work closely with various teams at country, regional, NAM Transactional Services, MSBL and Shared Services as appropriate.

This is a full-time 8:30 am until 4:30 pm hybrid position with Mondays/Fridays as work from home days and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office at our Leduc location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the country finance team to drive all Cash Conversion reporting at month end, including Forecast. Review the accuracy and completeness of the reported cash.
  • Analyse monthly cash variances against Forecast and Budget. Assess if there are any gaps in processes and implement measures to improve accuracy of Cash forecasting and reporting. This must be proactively managed for the region.
  • Support country finance team to ensure all capex spend are properly reported every month. Track capex utilisation against forecast / budget and work with country finance/business owners to ensure spends are in line with forecast / budget.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on all reporting matters pertaining to Cash and Capex.
  • Support the Regional Working Capital Manager to drive all Cash and Capex budget deliverables as per Group instructions and guidelines.
  • In charge of all bank accounts administration (new account, account closures, changes in bank signatories) in consultation with Group Treasury and Corporate Secretarial team. Supports business in the requests for bankers guarantees, performance bonds etc.
  • Support Regional Working Capital Manager in the rationalisation of bank accounts and interest charges.
  • Support in any transformation projects that are aimed at streamlining working capital processes across the Americas MS region.
  • Continuously review work processes to ensure efficient workflow to maximize efficiency and quality of information flow. 

Required Skills and Knowledge 

Advanced Excel skills is a a pre-requisite. Hands on experience with Cognos and SUN6 are added advantages. 
Strong in financial analytics, inquisitive thinking, an eye for details and a methodical mindset.
Strong leadership skills to work across all levels in a regional environment with set up in different locations / time zones.
Agile with critical thinking skills.
Resilient and flexible, comfortable to manage changes in an unstructured environment.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with various cultures as well as different levels of management.
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to deliver results in a fast paced and complex environment. 

Required Work Experience
Minimum 4 years' experience with Group / Regional reporting in a multinational organization.
Hands on experience in cash management (receipts/payments), bank accounts management will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in working in unstructured environments and process transformation that resulted in improved KPIs.
Must be willing to be hands on to coordinate, manage/drive all reporting requirements for a sizeable region.


Required Qualifications
 
Finance qualification along with professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, AGMA).


Required Languages

English - Written and spoken - Excellent command
Spanish - added advantage


Travel / Rotation Requirements
Occasional travel within the Americas MS region may be required.
