What does a Capital Improvement Program Manager do?

A Capital Improvement Program Manager oversees the planning, budgeting, and execution of large-scale infrastructure and facility projects for organizations, typically in the public sector. Their responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and keeping projects within budget. They play a critical role in maintaining and upgrading public assets such as roads, buildings, and utilities. By efficiently managing these programs, they help ensure that community needs are met and assets are preserved for long-term use.
