THE WORK:
  • You'll lead field construction activities and oversee construction and maintenance operations across multiple service areas.
  • You'll perform pole groundline inspection and treatment.
  • You'll perform wood and steel pole inspection, repair, and restoration.
  • You'll perform aluminum bell base insulator replacement.
  • You'll execute other transmission, distribution, or substation system upgrades.
  • You'll perform Transmission line (Tline) work ranging from 0-30 miles in scope
  • You'll champion project readiness and manage field teams by ensuring contractor inspectors, field supervisors, and coordinators fully understand project goals, expectations, and safety requirements.
  • You'll provide technical guidance and problemsolving by ensuring all work complies with technical specifications, assisting with material procurement coordination, and resolving technical issues raised by field teams or contractors.
  • You'll enforce safety and identify hazards by proactively identifying, evaluating, and reporting hazardous conditions to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
  • You'll drive quality assurance by monitoring work for quality and compliance, such as CTruss installations, T&D wood pole restoration, and other structural repairs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Professional experience in the construction and maintenance of substation facilities and/or transmission/distribution systems,
  • 10+ years of experience in construction & maintenance of electrical transmission/distribution/substation systems OR a bachelor's degree and 5 years of field experience OR an associate's degree and 8 years of field experience
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • High-voltage experience and working knowledge of electrical theory
  • Switching and tagging experience for projects requiring hold/markup
  • Professional experience managing field construction projects and teams in similar roles
  • Technical knowledge and professional experience in pole and tower inspections, repairs, and restoration
  • Professional experience with environmental regulations for construction
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • First Aid/AED certification
$100,000 - $110,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
