The Financial Systems Manager will join a team of four. This position will lead and coordinate SAP BPC processes supporting Headcount (HC), operating expenses (OPEX), and capital expenditures (CAPEX) planning models. They will also govern cost center changes through SAP MDG. This role manages core month-end close activities including roll forward forecast cycles, performing data validations, and offering hands-on support to resolve user issues. This role is a key business-facing partner for FP&A customers, working closely with teams responsible for project and capital planning. It also serves as the main liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring reliable operations, continuous process improvement, and an excellent user experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Direct BPC HC and OPEX model tasks, including updating forecasts, performing data reconciliations, and preparing for month-end close.

  • Lead CAPEX model activities in BPC, including depreciation roll forward, asset related planning support, capital data maintenance, and coordination with finance business partners.

  • Manage cost center changes in MDG, including generation of new cost centers, updates to cost center properties, and maintenance of cost center hierarchies.

  • Offer ongoing leadership to the finance liaisons by providing user assistance, solving BPC, master data, and process concerns for a smooth month-end close process.

  • Serve as the main liaison between FP&A and CAPEX collaborators, system end users, and IT partners, translating business needs into system requirements, aligning priorities, and coordinating effective solutions.

  • Act as project coordinator to drive continuous improvement in BPC HC/OPEX/CAPEX models and MDG cost center processes by recognizing problems, assessing solution options, and leading updates that strengthen control, efficiency, user experience, and data quality.

  • Manage SOPs, user guides, training materials, and process documentation related to BPC HC, OPEX, and CAPEX activities and MDG cost center processes to promote consistent application, user acceptance, and readiness for audits.

  • Coordinate internal and external audit support by ensuring timely and accurate documentation of master data and month-end close requirements.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • 8+ overall years of progressive experience providing technical and functional support with SAP ERP in finance.

  • 2+ years of leadership.

  • Solid background in SAP BPC for planning, including data management and support of planning cycles.

  • Extensive experience with SAP MDG cost center or comparable master data governance solutions managing finance master data and governance workflows.

  • Robust understanding of finance, encompassing P&L, balance sheet, journals, period-close activities, and HC/OPEX/CAPEX planning.

  • Experience leading UAT or system testing in an SAP/BPC environment, including test strategy, test case execution, and defect resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving delivery across multi-functional collaborators and project teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Direct Finance or Accounting experience, or solid grasp of end-to-end financial cycles such as close, forecasting, and planning.

  • Background in regulated or audit-heavy environments with strong financial controls, including SOX or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with or demonstrated experience using AI tools for finance, such as SAP Joule, Claude, and related technologies, to support data transformation, process improvement, financial analysis, and workflow automation.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD.
