Job description

General Summary:

The purpose of the job is to manage all CAP logistical operations and communications and to lead the implementation team at new accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Independently manages time and schedule between all Georgia branches and accounts
  2. Maintains all CAP logistics operations such as: 
  • Cart, shelf & bin inventory
  • CAP Process improvement plans at existing accounts
  1. Provides CAP application and product knowledge to successfully market CAP business to Customer
  2. Maintains constant communication with Account Managers (status of the account, projects, problems)
  3. Communicates through various channels (in person, written, e-mail, telephone with the customer and internal departments (sales, inside sales, warehouse, purchasing, etc.) in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Inventory analysis and review on-site at CAP Customer locations when necessary
  5. Plans the physical set-up of new CAP accounts
  6. Responsible for managing and executing the initial reorganization project including:
  • The physical movement of inventory
  • Shelf set-up
  • Data collection
  • Part number cross reference research
  • Creation of labels
  • The labeling of bins and shelves
  1. Understand and abide by Customer’s Safety Rules and Procedures at various locations
  2. Interfaces with the Coordinators to cover vacation and sick time, which will require travel to other branch accounts and possible overnight stays.
  3. Pursues new business opportunities by monitoring items supplied by competitors and determining the ability to convert items to Mc-Mc products.  Other business getting activities such as repair, tools, circuit boards.
  4. Maintains delivery vehicle and coordinates necessary repairs and maintenance.
  5. Assists in creating, implementing and revising work procedures and instructions.
  6. Delivers quality effort to CAP program

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  1. High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or demonstrated progression toward degree completion. 
  2. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, preferably Nexiant. 
  3. Extensive Knowledge of Mc-Mc product lines,
  4. Knowledge of Mc-Mc order processing and purchasing processes.
  5. Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Word.
  6. Must possess excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving and time management skills and have the ability to work independently.
  7. Must possess valid Georgia Drivers license with a good driving record.

Working Conditions:                      Varied.  Normal office, warehouse and/or factory environment.
