The CNP Technologist  role is part of our multi-skilled Neurodiagnostic team, performing procedures including Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic Testing, and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. Our technologists ensure exceptional patient preparation, accurate data acquisition, and a safe, high-quality testing environment. Performs a combination of EEGs, EMGs, and Autonomic Testing.  Neurodiagnostic Technologist in one of the largest Neurology Departments in the world, performing EEGs, EMG/NCS, and Autonomic Testing.


Qualifications

Tech I: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years equivalent neurodiagnostic tech experience. Associate's degree preferred. 

Requirements:

  • Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. 
  • The Registry Examination should be attempted as soon as the employee is eligible. 
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.

Tech II: High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of Neurodiagnostics experience. Associate's degree preferred.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply. Registries include specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.).
