Role Overview

The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies; curating content; refining communication and public relations strategies; and ensuring brand consistency across all five companies.  This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing/communications, real estate, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to jobsites, events, and company functions to capture photo and video content 

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all five companies’ social media accounts 

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity, including monitoring and responding to comments and messages 

  • Edit photos and video into platform-ready content such as posts, reels, and stories 

  • Maintain a social media content calendar and ensure brand consistency across all five accounts 

  • Monitor and report on KPIs including engagement, reach, and follower growth 

  • Collaborate withinternal teams to capture and showcasecompany projects, culture, and success stories 

  • Stay on top of platform trends and emerging formats, and bring new content ideas to the Marketing Manager 

  • Assist with any other marketing and business development related needs identified by the Marketing Manager 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field 

  • Strong photography and videography skills, including shooting and editing short-form video (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva) 

  • Expert across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube) 

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to jobsites and events across South Carolina and North Carolina (mileage reimbursed) 

  • Available to work 40 hours per week during the summer 

  • Creative mindset with akeen eye for design and brand execution 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in afast-paced environment 

  • Passion for visual storytelling in the construction and real estate industry; comfortable working on active jobsites 

  • Self-starter whotakes initiative, contributes new ideas, and is ready to present and execute new strategies 

  • This internship has the potential to be extended beyond the summer based on performance.
