What is a canopy installer?

A Canopy Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and securing canopies, awnings, or similar overhead structures for residential, commercial, or event purposes. • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, requests for quotes, drawing or submittal requests, and product or service questions.

Revenue Growth Within Existing Accounts
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue and market share across Pattison ID's portfolio of brands by introducing additional Pattison ID architectural products and services, such as cladding & fascia systems, canopy solutions, architectural lighting, exterior brand environments, and custom architectural fabrication solutions.
  • Prioritize automotive dealer selling within captive, protected-license accounts, ensuring dealership facilities remain brand compliant; pursue non-auto dealer architectural projects to expand Pattison ID's cladding and façade business using rainscreen and NFPA 285-certified systems.
  • Support cross-sell and upsell conversations with clients, working in collaboration with Director of Sales, Architectural and the BDI (Business Development & Innovation) Team.
  • Participate in account planning activities to set growth objectives, support specification influence, and track progress across each architectural account and project pipeline.

Sales Process & Pipeline Management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills; responsive and reliable in all client interactions.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple accounts and follow through on commitments consistently.
  • Eagerness to learn; open to coaching and development from Sales leadership and senior team members.
  • Basic commercial awareness; able to understand client needs and connect them to relevant Pattison ID architectural products and services.
  • Comfortable reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and building code or ADA requirements to support accurate quoting and client conversations.
