As a principal process engineer minimizes process variations and excursions in product manufacturing process so as to maximize wafer yield.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis using SPC, Real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the process.
  • Cross work with other function team for new technology transfer, process development, and problem‑solving activities.
  • Need commit the flexible personal time, once, fab business goal needed as abnormal event handling, meeting with TSMC in the Asia time zone, and etc.
Job Qualifications
  • BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science.
  • At least 5+ year’s ETCH process experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing semiconductor Fab.
  • Understanding of principle of ETCH process knowledge, and it is a plus for equipment knowledge and/or integration knowledge (Preferred).
  • Strong data analysis capability includes commonality check and DOE (Preferred).
  • Multi‑tasking and project management skills to balance and follow‑through with many tasks at once meeting deadlines and executing plans (Preferred).
  • Work with Manufacturing, Equipment and other function team to achieve quality and capacity goals (Preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.

Work Location & Schedule

This position operates on‑site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Total Rewards

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation: At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $108,235 and $156,729 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $108,235 – $172,895 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market‑competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

* This position is also eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus depending on various factors.
