Cannabis Relocation information

What is cannabis relocation?

Cannabis relocation refers to the process of moving a cannabis-related business, such as a dispensary, cultivation facility, or manufacturing site, from one location to another. This can involve transferring licenses, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, and updating security protocols. Relocation may be necessary due to zoning changes, business expansion, or regulatory requirements. The process can be complex and often requires coordination with regulatory agencies and local governments to maintain legal operation. Proper planning and legal guidance are crucial to ensure a smooth transition.

What are some common challenges faced when assisting cannabis businesses with relocation, and how can they be addressed?

Assisting cannabis businesses with relocation often involves navigating complex regulatory requirements, zoning laws, and securing appropriate permits. One major challenge is ensuring compliance with local and state cannabis regulations, which can vary significantly between jurisdictions. Additionally, coordinating logistics such as inventory transportation, facility setup, and security measures requires careful planning and collaboration with local authorities. To address these challenges, it's essential to stay updated on legal changes, work closely with legal and compliance experts, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a cannabis relocation specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Cannabis Relocation Specialist, you need knowledge of cannabis handling regulations, logistics, and inventory management, typically supported by experience in supply chain or cannabis operations. Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking systems, compliance software, and secure transport protocols is crucial. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure safe, compliant, and efficient relocation of cannabis products, which is essential for regulatory adherence and business success.

This is your chance to sell a product that practically sells itself — with an aggressive commission structure to match your hustle. If you think you have what it takes, apply now.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer preferences.
  • Represent Natura at trade shows, events, and industry networking opportunities.

This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and commission-driven — perfect for a high-energy, self-motivated sales professional ready to make a real impact.

  • Self-motivated, aggressive, and hungry to grow your territory and book of business.
  • Knowledgeable about the cannabis market, product trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Collaborative and able to work across teams while owning your revenue goals.
  • Passionate about cannabis and ready to represent a brand that sells itself.
  • High-earning commission structure — the harder you hustle, the more you make.
  • Work with best-in-class brands in the fastest-growing cannabis company in California.
  • Career growth opportunities as we scale nationally.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: May include managing junior sales staff in the future.
  • Environment: On-site San Jose / Santa Cruz office; regular exposure to raw cannabis flower and products.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle products, and engage in dynamic sales activities.
