SUMMARY: The Warehouse Assistant - Driver is directly responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of customer products. In addition, this person will also assist with general Warehouse duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Deliver and pick-up customer products in a timely manner
  • Perform daily safety inspections
  • Verify signatures and appropriate paperwork is collected
  • Notify appropriate supervisory personnel of any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips
  • Accurately sort, maintain, and stage product
  • Put away stock ensuring proper labeling and placement
  • Receive purchase orders, pick product and package for shipping
  • Check items to be shipped against picking ticket to assure quantities, destinations and routing are correct
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be proficient with knowledge of routes
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must have knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required
  • No previous experience is required; 1-3 years experience is preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must have valid driver’s license

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer or other equipment.
  • Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _50_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.

PPE REQUIRED:

  • Eye protection, hearing protection, foot protection with metatarsal guard, puncture proof gloves.
