Cannabis Processing Technician - Temporary Trimming & Packaging Job in Beaverton, Oregon
Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com), the first staffing agency dedicated exclusively to the legal cannabis and hemp industry since 2013, is now hiring Temporary Cannabis Processing Technicians to support harvest season for a licensed cannabis company located in Beaverton, Oregon.
This is a short-term trimming and packaging job in the cannabis industry, with the potential to extend beyond the initial 2-week assignment for top-performing team members. For individuals who consistently meet expectations and demonstrate reliability, there is also the potential for permanent employment.
Cannabis Processing Technician Job Description
As a Cannabis Processing Technician, you will support post-harvest production tasks including trimming cannabis flower by hand or machine to meet quality and compliance standards, sorting, weighing, labeling, and packaging cannabis products, assisting with quality control checks and sample collection, supporting various processing tasks such as edibles prep, extraction support, or pre-roll production depending on experience, maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, and following all OLCC regulations, safety protocols, and hygiene procedures. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent work ethic, and an interest in building experience in Oregon's regulated cannabis industry.
Requirements
Must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit. Previous experience in cannabis processing, food production, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Able to sit, stand, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours per shift. Punctual, dependable, and committed to quality and accuracy.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: Starting at $17/hour
Location: Beaverton, OR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time hours
Assignment Length: 2 weeks with potential to extend up to 2 months or convert to a long-term role
