The company retails high-quality cannabis products at its High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

What we're looking for...

The Inventory Lead is responsible for monitoring the store's inventory and compliance with state and local laws, as well as overseeing store operations in cooperation with management, while actively driving sales by guiding customers through the selection and purchase of cannabis products that best meet their needs and preferences. This is a full-time position.

Operating Hours: M-S 9am - 9pm

In this role you will....

  • Track, receive, and log incoming products into METRC/BioTrack in a timely, and accurate manner.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and conversion rate goals as defined by store leadership upon hire, using effective sales techniques and a deep understanding of customer needs to drive performance and contribute to overall store success.
  • Train team members on SOPs related to intake, packaging, labeling, and inventory tracking.
  • Verifying product deliveries against manifests; report and escalate discrepancies to management for resolution.
  • Package and label customer orders in compliance with state cannabis regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain a database with SKU/UPC numbers; ensure all reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical inventory to METRC inventory.
  • Able to independently open & close the store.
  • Ensure the waiting room and sales floor are well maintained and the sales floor is properly stocked during downtime, delegating these tasks to other team members as needed.
  • Maintain product knowledge and keep up on current cannabis trends.
  • Accurately use and maintain point of sale (POS) systems, and perform daily cash management responsibilities, while maintaining company cash handling policies.
  • Actively participate in management and store meetings, offering suggestions for employee development, sales opportunities, and organizational improvements.
  • Performing cycle counts daily, weekly, and monthly as needed.
  • Create and maintain inventory reports for all products on hand in the store.
  • Responsible for confirming accurate product information is entered into POS and is displayed correctly on ecommerce menus.
  • Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify Management when material has expired or is damaged.
  • Organize and maintain backroom inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling.
  • Maintain compliance with local and state regulations, company policies, and SOPs.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to the company's policies and guidelines, and act as store representative when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager are not present.

    Skills and experience you have...

    • 2+ years' experience in inventory management, High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
    • Experience with POS systems, inventory tracking systems, required; METRC experience preferred.
    • Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant preferred.
    • Excellent organization skills, with a high attention to detail.
    • Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
    • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional and businesslike manner.
    • Knowledge of state and local regulations preferred.
    • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
    • Ability to pass a background check and is 21 years of age.
    • Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
