Job Summary:

Perform grow-related tasks and procedures at assigned facility.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Routine daily tasks include hand-watering, transplanting, pruning, spraying, room/row turnovers/sanitation, container washing, work area and facility cleanliness, and moving plants throughout the facilities.
  • Pest and plant issue identification.
  • Ensure all corporate and grow policies and procedures are carried out safely and accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Work a 40-hour work week including, at times, holidays, weekends, snow days, etc. Consecutive scheduled days off not always possible.
  • Shall work in adverse environmental conditions at times including hot, cold, humid, confined, strong smells, and others.
  • Shall work with dirty, wet, and laborious activities at times.
  • Works well in team-based systems: Accountability, communication, reliability, time management.
  • First year of employment will be focused on transplanting, watering, pruning, harvesting, and pot washing activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

General Housekeeping:

  • Cleanliness is paramount to proper cultivation. All grow rooms and cultivation areas shall be cleaned daily including all equipment and tools used throughout the day.

Physical and Emotional Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day
  • Able to remain stationary, while performing repetitive motion for up to 8 hours a day
  • Can repetitively lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, & reach
  • Must be able to tolerate a reasonable amount of work stress
  • Will work in adverse environmental conditions at times including hot, cold, humid, confined, strong smells, and others
  • Will work with live & dry plants some of which can be irritants to the skin, eyes, ears, and nose
  • Grow Techs will work forty hours a week in shifts occurring every day of the year: Holidays, weekends, snow days, etc. Candidates must be willing and able to work on most days of the year.

Compensation/Hours:

Compensation - $18.00/hr ; 40 hours/wk., Required Mon - Sun, Holidays, ~7:00am to 3:00pm
