Job Description Summary:
LOLLYPOP MACHINE OPERATOR: A Lollypop Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining wrapping machines to ensure efficient packing and production.
Job Description:
Job duties:
  • Operator is responsible for setting up the machines, making necessary adjustments and performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring and Inspecting products for consistency and defects, making corrections when necessary to ensure quality.
  • Machine Operator documents production data, including downtime.
  • Machine Operator collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow.
  • Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining a clean, Organized and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Machine Operator adhere to safety protocols and follow all safety procedures, including OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout requirements.
  • Machine Operator role is ensuring the quality and efficiency of the packing process.
  • Machine Operator role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Requrements:
  • The equipment operated by Lollypop Machine Operators is:
  • 1. Lollypop forming and wrapping equipment.
  • 2 Little pop forming and wrapping equipment.
  • 3 Little pop packing equipment.
  • Machine operators shall receive the machine operator rates while operating rated machines. Lollypop Machine Operators direct personnel within specific operations surrounding their equipment.

EQUIPMENT USED: Approved Scrapper, scissors, knife cutter, and screwdriver.
KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING: Food Safety, GMP's, PPE (Sleeves, gloves, safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, ear plugs, etc.)
ESSENTIAL TASKS: Candy forming and wrapping machine operation and monitoring. Inspect candy consistency in size and shape. Adjust machine settings for different candy types or production requirements. Install and adjust part as needed for the right operation and controls defects. Record production data.
  • Follows food safety requirements and hygiene protocols.
  • Document all downtimes from the operated equipment.
