Job description

The purpose of the Bulk Product Specialist and Track runner position is to dump bulk products (candy/nuts/mixed products) into mixing bins. It is their responsibility to ensure the correct product is in the bins and that the bin is full and feeding the line continuously. Daily paperwork must be completed with accuracy. Track Running is responsible to ensure the finished boxes of product are safely removed from the production line and palletize the finished product in preparation for shipment. Additional job duties may require general room cleaning, and assisting with inventory, and working in all production rooms
Essential Functions
  • Verifies product to ensure the correct product is being used by reading the production demand sheet and bulk case descriptions
  • Ensuring work area is free and clear of hazards and reporting any safety concerns to the room supervisor, this includes injuries, or potential injuries
  • Following company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and adhering to all other company policies
  • Maintain a clean workspace, including sweeping or other cleaning during down time, or other times when necessary
  • Documentation of product information and LOT Codes
  • Accurate completion of pre-operational check lists
  • Assisting other Bulk Handlers when needed
  • Sanitation of equipment and surrounding areas
  • Remove boxed product from production line
  • Palletize boxes for stability
  • Use hand and electric pallet jack to move pallets
  • Complete paperwork accurately
  • Will be required to keep pace with team to minimize stoppage on line
  • Assist with the training of employees

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Full time hour schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required to meet business needs.
Education, Skills, and Experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Must have the ability to be trained to operate powered equipment such as floor scrubber, pallet jack, and potentially forklift
