MANUFACTURING ASSISTANT

Burnley Enterprises at Kitchen Kettle Village


Intercourse, Pa | $15 / hour | Full-time


Help bring our products to life! The Burnley Enterprises Manufacturing Assistant supports the creation of products for several Burnley Enterprises brands, including By Candle Light candles and Deerskin Leather handbags. This hands-on role also assists with trunk shows, provides retail sales support, and helps wherever production is needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare jars, wicks, wax melters, and materials for candle production.
  • Produce candles and wax melts by following established scent, dye, and temperature specifications.
  • Assemble, label, price, and package finished candle products after curing.
  • Perform leather goods assembly, including gluing, fastening, riveting, hardware installation, zipper stops, and hole punching.
  • Assist with bag production through piling, clipping, turning, and other assembly tasks.
  • Operate embossing equipment to apply company logos and customer monograms to leather products.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and manufacturing areas.
  • Receive, organize, and inventory raw materials and finished goods to support production needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining manufacturing processes, answering questions, and creating custom monogrammed products.
  • Collaborate with management to improve manufacturing procedures, safety practices, and production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality control, inventory, and material needs.
  • Monitor repairs, special orders, and production levels to ensure inventory requirements are met.
