The Senior Manager, Strategic Insights is a proactive and strategic problem solver responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing research studies that accelerate and amplify organizational priorities by informing improvements to the audience experience. This role translates stakeholder needs into actionable research plans, ensuring the audience is at the center of decision-making. The Senior Manager collaborates with key leaders and stakeholders, presenting analyses that highlight engagement drivers and friction points and providing recommendations for optimizing experiences and driving measurable outcomes. By integrating quantitative, qualitative, and emerging data sources including AI-powered analytics, the Senior Manager delivers actionable insights, supports measurement frameworks, and advances professional expertise by staying current with evolving methodologies and business trends, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

This is a 100% remote position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct Insights Research & Drive Business Outcomes - Lead the design, execution, and analysis of research studies to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes within the area of responsibility. Integrate and analyze quantitative, qualitative, and AI-powered data sources, leverage feedback platforms, and translate complex data into impactful visualizations and compelling stories that inform and influence decision-making. Provide actionable recommendations to business owners, advocate for the audience's point of view, and lead journey mapping initiatives to ensure a holistic understanding of experiences across relevant touchpoints. (60%)

  • Drive Strategic Consultation & Communication - Serve as a strategic thought partner to business owners, translating challenges into research requirements and proactively identifying research needs to ensure decisions are grounded in deep human-centered understanding. Influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning and execution within the area of responsibility. (15%)

  • Enhance Stakeholder Communication & Influence - Translate complex data and analysis into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. Build trusting relationships, align stakeholders, and drive collaboration across functions by communicating insights and recommendations that inspire action and change. (10%)

  • Track and Communicate Insights Impact - Track, report, and communicate the impact of insights within the area of responsibility, ensuring findings are delivered and acted upon to support measurable outcomes and inform decision-making. (10%)

  • Advance Professional Expertise and Innovation - Continuously develop expertise by staying current with emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in the insights field. Proactively experiment with new approaches and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the area of responsibility. (5%)

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree

  • Preferred Degree: Master's degree in marketing research, Psychology, Decision Science

  • Years of experience: 5 years successful experience in hands-on marketing research and data analysis experience, and 2 years of leading cross-functional initiatives/teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

  • Strong analytical, qualitative, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives and inspire innovative solutions.

  • In-depth hands-on experience of market research techniques (focus groups, IDIs, online surveys, etc.), survey design, sampling plans, analysis, discussion guide creation, qual and quant research data analysis, data visualization.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills. Proven experience in synthesizing insights, influencing action at multiple levels.

  • Excellent ability to translate analytic results and data into key findings relevant to multiple different internal audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization, with impeccable interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the courage to challenge assumptions, drive change, provide strategic direction, and delegate responsibilities to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives, organize, prioritize, schedule, and delegate work effectively.

The starting rate is $81,000 to $111,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
