Job description

Job Description
As an Analyst - Transportation, you will provide operational and analytical support across multiple transportation modes, including small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, courier, rail, and expedited shipments across the U.S. and Canada. This role acts as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external transportation partners, helping to execute day-to-day transportation activities while driving service performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners to resolve transportation-related inquiries
  • Coordinate and execute transportation solutions for both daily shipments and project-based needs
  • Monitor and analyze mode-specific performance metrics (cost, service levels, on-time delivery, claims) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Analyze service or cost issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and dashboards
  • Support transportation and supply chain initiatives through data analysis and project participation
  • Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of national transportation programs
  • Support carrier performance tracking and contribute to ongoing optimization of the transportation network

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 2 years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables, reporting)
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SharePoint, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
