Job Summary:
The Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the resort front desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, responsive guest service, and a welcoming guest experience. This position assists with guest inquiries and concerns, coordinates reservations, resolves issues, and supports the front desk team through training and guidance while ensuring established policies and procedures are followed.

This is a full-time, hourly position offering an attractive compensation package that includes a competitive hourly rate and a percentage of service charges, as well as medical, dental, life and vision benefits and exclusive resort discounts.
Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop front desk staff on proper procedures, guest service standards, and property management systems
  • Assign tasks and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address performance concerns as needed
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to front desk staff
  • Greet guests upon arrival, provide a warm welcome, and assist with the check-in process
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate information regarding resort amenities, local attractions, and available services
  • Manage guest reservations, including confirming details and updating the property management system
  • Ensure a smooth check-out process, including processing payments and final billing
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front desk area
  • Oversee cash-handling procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Manage front desk communications, including phone calls, messages, and guest inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with resort policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest needs and resolve issues efficiently
Requirements:
  • Previous experience and knowledge working with hotel systems preferred
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Possess strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer systems
