In this role, you will support the design, sustainment, and enhancement of electronic products within a dynamic R&D environment. You will work on multiple sustaining engineering projects, contribute to schematic capture and prototyping activities, support compliance testing for medical devices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable, and high-quality product solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your electrical design expertise while working on technologies that improve lives and support healthcare innovation.## Your role* Design, update, and support electronic hardware for end-of-life (EOL) and sustaining engineering projects.* Develop and modify schematics using Altium Designer and associated electronic design tools.* Partner with third-party manufacturers to oversee prototype builds and design implementation.* Support multiple concurrent sustaining engineering projects while managing priorities and project deliverables.* Conduct design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical investigations to resolve hardware issues.* Coordinate and support compliance and certification testing activities for medical device products.* Collaborate with cross-functional R&D, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure successful product delivery and lifecycle support.## Your skills and experience* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.* 3-5 years of electrical design experience in a product development or sustaining engineering environment.* Experience with schematic capture tools; Altium Designer experience is strongly preferred.* Knowledge of electronic circuit design, PCB design, prototyping, and electrical test methodologies.* Experience supporting hardware development from design through prototype and testing phases.* Familiarity with compliance testing and regulatory requirements; medical device industry experience is preferred.* Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 53,580 - $122,400Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
