The US & Canada Mobility Strategy & Planning team sits at the very heart of this mission. We are the analytical engine that helps steer the business, working side-by-side with senior leaders to shape the future direction of our operations. Our team is responsible for identifying and pursuing the next big opportunities, ensuring we remain accountable for delivering results, and uncovering the critical data-driven insights that help leaders across product, operations, and engineering make better, more informed decisions.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of strong business judgment and advanced analytical skills. You are a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex problems with data, and you excel at communicating your insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

What the you will do

  1. Work with a high-caliber team to shape the multi-year strategy for Uber's category-defining Mobility business in US & Canada.
  2. Dig into complex business performance data across our portfolio of products and geographies to identify key trends and drivers.
  3. Develop analytical frameworks to understand and monitor trends in user growth, competitive dynamics, engagement, and operational performance.
  4. Identify and prioritize organic & inorganic opportunities to accelerate growth in Uber's largest and most profitable mobility mega-region
  5. Lead the business in the annual strategic planning process
  6. Translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior executive leadership.
  7. Act as a strategic, data-driven partner to leaders across the organization, using your insights to drive decision-making and action.

 Basic Qualifications 

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 5+ years of experience in management consulting, business intelligence, data analytics, corporate strategy, or a related analytical field


 Preferred Qualifications 

  1. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data-driven insights to real-world business challenges and strategic opportunities.
  2. Proven ability to roll up their sleeves and dives deep into the data to find answers to complex questions.
  3. A "driver" personality - you are biased toward action, a great collaborator, and can push toward clarity and execution in ambiguous environments.
  4. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to a diverse, senior audience.
  5. Exceptional technical skills, with proficiency in SQL and experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R), and AI proficiency.
  6. Experience coaching or leading analytical team members

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.


For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
