The location in Morristown, (Tennessee, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Slitting Job Setter. This job is full-time permanent.
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
To setup, troubleshoot, adjust and repair all necessary equipment for the production of paper rolls in accordance with specifications (Slitters, Presses, Roll Separators, Wrappers, Conveyors, Case Packers, Ink Jet Printers) and any other necessary equipment) To drive Fork Truck and Clamp Truck, requisition raw material and make necessary transaction moves in ERP. Job Setters are to lead by communicating, directing and teaching others; and are expected to make sound business decisions when/where necessary. Job Setters are accountable for making sure Packers, Operators, and Material Handlers are performing their jobs properly and the quality of work these associates are producing and packing. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Qualifications (Skills & Educational Requirements): G.E.D. or equivalent.
  2. Mechanical ability (must be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment)
  3. Ability to lift heavy weights.
  4. Must be able to use various measuring instruments.
  5. Must be quality oriented.
  6. Must be able to read and understand job specifications.
  7. Must be able to read blueprints.
