ANNOUNCEMENT OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Recreation Site Host - 1 openings

Watson Lake (1)

This is a volunteer position.

As volunteers for the City of Prescott, the Recreation Site Host shall provide customer service and custodial duties for the City of Prescott's city-wide Recreation Services sites during the camping season.

Duties:

  • Working a schedule and duties; provided by the Recreation Services Department Maintenance Supervisor or designee
  • Assisting campers with camping registrations and payments
  • Keeping track of occupied and reserved sites; directing campers to vacant sites
  • Working cooperatively with Department maintenance staff and volunteers
  • Wearing any uniform items provided by the Department
  • Complying with all park rules and regulations
  • Working closely with law enforcement personnel as needed
  • Keeping their campsite in a presentable condition
  • Opening and closing entrance gates as requested
  • Keeping pets under control at all times
  • Manage site when reserved for a large-scale event
  • Other duties as assigned
