Set alongside the Yellowstone River and in close proximity to the North gate of Yellowstone National Park, Auster at Dome Mountain will showcase the rugged natural beauty and authentic western hospitality of southwest Montana. The newest addition to AMB West, Auster will include 20 cabins designed for year-round stays, ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts. The main lodge anchors the site and will serve as the hub for connection, dining, and relaxation, complemented by a casual restaurant and bar featuring a rooftop deck, a retail market, a pool, a drive-thru coffee stand, and inviting outdoor gathering spaces.

Additionally, guests will have access to Rising Sun Golf Course, an 18-hole Johnny Miller-designed championship-level course located at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch.

Just a 20-minute drive from Yellowstone National Park, Auster's riverfront location sits on over 6,000 acres, offering a blend of unspoiled terrain and thoughtfully designed experiences, ensuring visitors can enjoy the outdoors while preserving its natural beauty. Guests will have access to a variety of activities across the property, including guided hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife as well as whitewater rafting and guided fishing trips through local business partnerships. There are plenty of opportunities for adventure in the heart of Yellowstone Country. The Gallatin National Forest, Yellowstone National Park, the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, the Crazy Mountains, the Bridger Mountains, and the Gallatin Canyon area all provide excellent opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping. Big Creek and the mighty Yellowstone River offer fishing, rafting, and kayaking opportunities. Livingston is a 45-minute drive and offers a quaint downtown with great restaurants and a vibrant artistic community. Bozeman is an hour drive and is home to Montana State University and the Museum of the Rockies, as well as a great variety of coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and bars. Local haunts like the Pine Creek Lodge, The Old Saloon in Emigrant, and Chico Hot Springs are always staff favorites, and feature live music and great food without the long drive.

Job DescriptionOur bartenders will be surrounded by the best views and guests in the valley at the Southwind Saloon. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. A successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ability to workindependently, takedrink orders directly from guests, and mixand servebeverages accurately

• Maintain a clean and well-organized bar area

• Checkcustomer identification to verify legal drinking age

• Manage bar inventory

• Handle paymentsand understand the POS system

• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations

• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensuretimelyandaccurateorder delivery

Qualifications

• Bar experience preferred

• TIPS certificationrequired

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling procedures

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts

• Positive attitude and passion for customer service
