- Receives and processes cash payments from customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Counts and reconciles fees collected, ensuring proper documentation and recording.
- Prepares and submits deposits, following established procedures and maintaining a secure handling of funds.
- Creates and sends invoices for services rendered, maintaining accurate records.
- Records sales transactions accurately and updates the accounts receivable system.
- Conducts cash transactions, providing correct change and receipts to customers.
- Endorses checks and enters transactions into the cash register or cash receipt journal/log.
- Monitors cash receipting functions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Retrieves and counts cash receipts from the business day, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Stores cash securely until deposited and maintains confidentiality of financial information.
- Processes various transactions such as refunds, voids, and cash drawer reconciliations.
- Submits accounting information through designated systems, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Collaborates with the Operations Managers to address any cash handling or accounting concerns.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- Previous cash handling experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent math aptitude for accurate cash counting and recording.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Exceptional customer relations skills, both written and oral, for clear communication with customers and colleagues.
