Job description

Coordinates and executes sales prospecting programs and campaigns that boost lead procurement and activities to generate additional sales leads.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Coordinate Prospecting Programs & Campaigns

  • Regularly:
    • Seeks seminar prospects from company and commercial contacts
    • Checks email
    • Updates RSVP event status
    • Orders supplies
    • Maintains supply of on-hand marketing materials; orders as required
    • Checks ALAS system lead status and updates as appropriate
  • Executes integrated sales & marketing demand generation campaigns by scheduling, administering and coordinating activities  which may include one or more of the following:
    • Grassroots events
    • Location Showcase events
    • Seminars
    • Affinity Relationships
    • Direct Mail (Oversight)
    • Branding
    • Other events
    • Securing payment, permits, legal contacts and insurance, as required
    • Ensure sales team have materials necessary to support the event
    • Ensure materials used by the market adhere to branding standards
    • Logistical support

Collaborate with Sales Teams

  • Ensures leads are assigned within 24 hours of event.
  • Presents qualified opportunities to the sales team, providing necessary meeting notes and company research
  • Participates in weekly sales meetings to communicate event schedules, deadlines and progress.
  • Reports on event or program costs
  • Makes suggestions and recommendation to improve future activities

Reporting/Training

  • Reports details and frequency of ALAS related training.
  • Reports on event/campaign lead generation
  • Maintains detailed monthly and quarterly metrics reports of all lead generation programs.
  • Track all campaigns and leads via ALAS.
     

EDUCATIONAL/Experience/MINIMUM Requirements

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field  

Experience:

  • One (1) year of related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate with marketing and the respective sales teams
  • Ability to manage a high number of small tasks related to lead generation and management of assigning leads
  • Ability to accurately and carefully maintain lead records and their status in ALAS to facilitate lead assignment, reporting and tracking of leads into opportunities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with  Sales team

  • Generally works indoors at company or commercial locations
  • May attend outdoor functions
  • Standard business dress is required 
Work Postures
  • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
  • Standing for extended periods, as required
Physical Demands
  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
  • Prepare, pack, lift, load, transport required training materials and equipment
Work Hours
  • Working a number of evenings every month
  • Travel 3-4 weeks per month.

Salary: $22.00/hr.- $26.00/hr.

An individual’s pay within the scale is based on several factors that may include one or more of the following: background, skills, relevant experience, performance, education and work location.
