TRUMPF is seeking a creative, curious, and digitally savvy Digital Media Intern to join our Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role will support TRUMPF's digital marketing and communications efforts across social media, email marketing, website content, digital campaigns, and marketing analytics.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in digital marketing, social media, communications, content marketing, or brand management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple digital platforms, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys turning complex topics into engaging content.
Internship Duration: Onsite in Farmington, CT from January 2027 - August 2027 At least 24 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
  • Support the development and execution of TRUMPF's social media content across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Assist with developing social media calendars and scheduling content.
  • Write and edit social media copy consistent with TRUMPF's brand voice and messaging.
  • Monitor social channels, identify opportunities for engagement, and help track audience response.
  • Research relevant industry trends, topics, hashtags, and content opportunities.
  • Support live social media coverage of trade shows, customer events, product launches, and other company activities.

Email & Digital Campaigns
  • Assist with the development, deployment, and reporting of email marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain email lists and campaign audiences.
  • Help create email copy, subject lines, calls to action, and supporting content.
  • Support digital advertising and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Track campaign performance and help identify opportunities to improve engagement, clicks, and conversions.

Website & Content
  • Assist with maintaining and updating content on the TRUMPF website.
  • Support SEO-focused content updates and basic keyword research.
  • Help develop and repurpose content for digital channels, including articles, videos, customer stories, and product-related content.
  • Proofread and fact-check digital content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Assist with gathering and analyzing digital marketing performance data.
  • Help prepare regular reports on social media, email, website, and campaign performance.
  • Identify trends and insights that can help improve future marketing activities.
  • Support the Marketing team in tracking key performance indicators and campaign results.

Events & Marketing Support
  • Assist with photography, video, and content capture at events when appropriate.
  • Help organize and maintain digital marketing assets.
  • Provide general support to the Marketing team on projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
  • Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable learning new software and digital platforms.
