Job description

Spend an incredible summer working at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness and culinary arts! We are a sleepaway camp located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA and have campers ages 7-17.

We are looking for a driver to join our team from June 17 – August 17, 2026, and live on-site at our camp in the Pocono Mountains! There is some flexibility in the start date for full-time school workers. Our driver will mostly be driving staff to local spots on their off day. You might also be asked to drive campers to local doctor appointments and run errands for the camp while you are out. This position does not require a CDL license, as you will only be driving a 15-person passenger van.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive in a safe and responsible manner
  • Transport staff to scheduled appointments and activities on time
  • Drive campers as needed to local doctors or hospitals.
  • Occasional trips to transport campers or staff to or from NY/NJ Airports or other pick-up points
  • Run various errands as required and assist with some local shopping as needed
  • Ensure that the vehicle is clean and tidy at all times
  • Conduct daily safety checks on vehicle and always make sure there is enough gas and all fluids are at optimal levels.
  • Report any staff behavior-related concerns to camp leadership
  • Generally work 8 - 10 hours a day, six days per week
  • Assist in main camp office or other areas of camp when not needed to drive

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum age required is 21 years old in order to get on the camps insurance policy
  • A clean valid driver’s license
  • Prior experience as a professional driver is preferred
  • Prior experience working at a camp and with children would also be preferred.
