- Camp Courage | Maple Lake, MN
- Coordinate transportation for campers, staff, volunteers, and program partners
- Develop and communicate transportation plans and schedules
- Coordinate off-site transportation by communicating with families, partner groups, bus drivers, and staff
- Assign and oversee staff supporting transportation needs
- Coordinate vehicles and assist with transportation for day trips, special activities, and other off-site needs
- Assist with transportation to and from airports, bus stations, train stations, and other travel locations for summer staff
- Organize, label, load, and unload camper and staff luggage
- Support weekend and free-time activity options that require off-site transportation
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with campers, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners
- Maintain accurate notes in camper files and other applicable records
- Collect and manage transportation-related payments as needed
- Make fiscally responsible transportation decisions and communicate concerns to leadership
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
- Use organizational systems to track transportation information and schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Full-time seasonal position, typically May through August
- Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Schedule may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and occasionally early mornings based on transportation needs
- Schedule may vary based on camper travel, program schedules, staff transportation, and other organizational needs
- Position requires travel between True Friends locations and other destinations as needed
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass the required motor vehicle record check
- Ability to pass the required organizational background study
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, responsible, and able to manage multiple transportation needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, staff, volunteers, drivers, and community members
- Enthusiasm for working with individuals with disabilities and their families, caregivers, and support networks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to use or learn computer, word processing, database, and scheduling systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt when plans change

- Work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the workday
- Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, including luggage and supplies
- See, hear, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Use hands and fingers to operate vehicles, tools, computers, and other equipment
- Assist campers with mobility, luggage, and other transportation-related needs as appropriate
- Work with individuals who may have a range of physical, cognitive, behavioral, and communication needs
- Transportation Coordinators are paid an hourly rate of $15.63 per hour
- Meals and lodging are provided during employment
