Job Title - Security Specialist

Job description

Progressive Technologies Inc., is seeking security specialists in Nashville capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting Video, Intrusion and Access Control systems. This will be an in-field position working on multiple projects simultaneously at times.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of access control panels, readers, intercoms, and security cameras
  • Installation of cabling of said access control and camera systems
  • Configuration and programming of Video & Access Control systems, especially Lenel, Avigilon, DMP & Verkada
  • Ability to troubleshoot various issues that arise and have proficient problem-solving skills
  • Communicate closely with project managers, customers, and other team members

Qualifications

  • Certified in Lenel, Avigilon, DMP and Verkada preferred
  • Certified in multiple access control systems
  • 2+ years' experience in access control and camera system programming, configuration, and installation
  • Ability to solve problems and have a positive attitude when issues arise
  • Demonstrate team player mentality to overcome issues with the customer and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple technicians on your team and the ability to prioritize key tasks to maintain project schedules and deadlines
