Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is Looking for a Injection Molding Technician for the plants in St. Louis, Missouri!

What will you do?
  • Set product recipes ensuring necessary regulations and PLC parameters are in place, make necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments, control production variables to ensure product specifications are met
  • Actively support investigating, troubleshooting and resolving quality issues
  • Ensure process stability during production and acts timely to address any deviation
  • Support the training of the production staff to help them solve minor technical problems affecting the quality of the bottle
  • Carry out the electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, driers, leak test, cameras, palletizers, etc.)
  • Find solutions by fabricating mechanical or other parts to address production or technical issues and to improve machine performance
  • Support the Technical team in improvement projects and decisions on machines, equipment, molds and processes

What are we looking for?
  • Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
  • Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems
  • Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques
  • Good applied knowledge of WCM standards
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes
