  • Professional behavior in formal meeting environments
  • Strong communications and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work evenings during scheduled board meetings or district events

Function
The AV Communications Intern supports the Office of Communications by helping operate cameras and assist with audiovisual production during board meetings and district events. This internship provides hands-on experience in live event coverage, media production and professional communications.
Reports To:
Webmaster
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with operating cameras during board meetings and district events
  • Help set up and break down audiovisual equipment before and after events
  • Monitor camera positioning and visual quality during live recordings or livestreams
  • Support staff with basic troubleshooting of equipment when needed
  • Maintain organization and care of AV equipment
  • Assist the Communications team with additional multimedia or production tasks as assigned

Learning Opportunities:
  • Hand-on experience with professional AV equipment
  • Exposure to live event production and public communications
  • Skill development in teamwork, technical operations and media productions

Working Conditions:
  • Use of standard office and design equipment, including photography and video equipment
