What You'll Do
Spend your days working on cool cars instead of customer tickets.ย 
ย 
As the Automotive Installation Technician (On Camera), you'll install parts on a wide variety of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles while working alongside our production team to create professional installation videos that help drivers around the world confidently repair their vehicles.
ย 
You'll be the hands-on expert in the studio, performing installs, explaining repair procedures, troubleshooting unexpected issues, and ensuring every installation is done the right way.

No customer tickets. No flat-rate pressure. Just quality automotive work, great equipment, and an awesome production team creating content that helps DIYers around the world.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional automotive repair experienceย 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordย 
  • Current ASE Certification required
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across domestic, Asian, and European vehiclesย 
  • Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, engine, drivetrain, electrical, and HVAC systemsย 
  • Ability to diagnose problems and adapt during repairsย 
  • Comfortable working with a collaborative production teamย 
  • Strong communication skillsย 
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipย 
  • Previous on-camera experience is a huge plus
Responsibilities
  • Installing A-Premium parts on a variety of vehicles for video productionย 
  • Working side-by-side with our video team to create clear installation contentย 
  • Demonstrating proper installation techniques and best practicesย 
  • Troubleshooting challenges that come up during installsย 
  • Helping ensure every repair meets manufacturer standardsย 
  • Preparing vehicles before filming and inspecting completed workย 
  • Keeping the studio, lifts, and tools organized and camera-readyย 
  • Assisting with sourcing vehicles for upcoming productions when neededย 
  • Helping us continually improve the quality and efficiency of our productions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
