Position Overview

The Preferred Car Wash Greeter is the first point of contact for Preferred Owners arriving at Mercedes-Benz of Ontario for a complimentary car wash. This role is responsible for welcoming all guests, assisting them with the check-in process, and coordinating the safe and timely transport of vehicles to and from the Car Wash Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Warmly Greet Guests as they arrive, with a smile and personalized welcome.

  • Locate Appointments in the Xtime system and verify the Guest is part of the Preferred Owner Program.

  • Inspect and Document Vehicles using an iPad and the 360 camera system, identifying any pre-existing damage and taking high-quality photos.

  • Apply Service Tags inside the vehicle and attach the key tag properly.

  • Obtain Guest Acknowledgment on the Service Tag or Service Agreement.

  • Secure Vehicle Keys by placing them in the designated cup holder location.

  • Direct Guests courteously to the Fletcher Jones Guest Services for their continued experience.

  • Ensure the check-in process runs smoothly, promptly, and professionally.

  • Safety & Compliance: Follow dealership procedures and applicable Cal/OSHA safety guidelines while working in active service areas

  • Perform other job-related duties consistent with the Preferred Car Wash Greeter role, as assigned by management


RequirementsDriving Assignments Only
  • Valid California driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record

  • Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission preferred but not required)

  • Driving duties are assigned based on role level and operational needs

General Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
